Excellent classic dubstep.
Too bad it's so short.

Excellent!
The variety of sounds keep it interesting till the end.
I can see the Prince Of Persia already, acrobating on the dusty streets of Cairo.

RavenGMD responds:

im glad you like it :D

This is perfection.
It reminds me of songs of Russian Circles.

OceanPlanet responds:

Thank you so much! Really happy to hear you liked it :)

Very well mixed and mastered, which is an art by itself.
It sounds crisp and crystal clear, every little detail has been taken care of.
The main theme of the song sounds very convincing.
Also, I've got a soft spot for pumping basslines.
So I give it 5 out of 5.

If you would scout me, I would be honored and humbled.

OceanPlanet responds:

Thank you so much for such kind words dude :) really so nice to hear you took the time to listen! I'm happy you said about the mix as it's the first song I've used to incorporate piano and strings :)

Haha, I used to dream of fusing drum n bass and blues together, but I suppose rock n roll works just as well.
To be honest, I was expecting a guitar solo at around 2:00.
An earlier and more prominent breakdown would also have been nice, to make the dancing people get a little bit of rest.

Nice to hear an acoustic song for a change.
Who says composing soothing tunes is only reserved for the likes of Einaudi?

Very, very well done.
The intro is a bit of a waiting process, but that waiting is immediately rewarded by a lot of colourful sounds.
The variety of melodies show great skill in the composition department.

Btw, I'd be honored if you would scout me.

SylvanShackleton responds:

Thanks man! I went to go scout ya but i cant figure out how with the new page design.

Yeah, syncopation galore!
The strong point of this song are the leads/plucks and the intelligently written melodies.
Why not add some superstring chord stabs with a different rhythm pattern in the melody (but still with syncopation) than what you have now?
That would make this song totally awesome.

Would have been a good dubstep song, if not for one thing...

At first I thought my headphones were not plugged in properly.
But it's more that the EQ'ing of the track needs more work.
It's either that or you became overly enthousiastic with a convolver/reverb that makes the song sound hollow.
Try using an EQ VST with visual feedback, and compare some dubstep tracks' EQ to make your song's EQ sound more punchy.

Lot7even responds:

That "Hollow" effect is an attempt to sound like a virtual riot song. It didn't quite work out, obviously.

Sorry man, it's just waaaay too short and the 'drop' just comes out of the blue.
Sounds more like the beginnings of a song when you're just getting started writing it.
Put more time into it (a lot more) and I'm sure it'll sound amazing.

Just a simple software developer by day, but by night I become the supervillain Amadeion, terrorizing innocent civilians who have a good taste in music.
